PROEMIO는 중세 고대 스페인어로 “프롤로그” 또는 

“첫 페이지”를 의미하며, 와이너리 역사의 시작을 상징합니다. 

2001년, 3대째 와인 양조자이자 이탈리아 이민자의 후손인 마르셀로 보카르도는 조상의 포도 재배 열정을 이어받아 고품질 와인을 생산하기 위해 

PROEMIO 와인을 설립했습니다.

PROEMIO는 2017년 유기농 인증을 받아 환경 보호와 지속 가능한 접근 방식을 실천하며 지역 사회에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있습니다.

Malbec—often called “the tear of Argentina” and “the heart of Argentina”—

played a vital role in rebuilding the country’s education, healthcare,

and construction sectors after the economic collapse during the 2000 IMF crisis.

Its global export success remains one of Argentina’s most meaningful brand achievements.

PROEMIO comes from an ancient Spanish word meaning “prologue”

or “first page,” symbolizing the beginning of a winery’s story.

Founded in 2001 by Marcelo Bocardo, a third-generation winemaker

and descendant of Italian immigrants, the estate was born from his desire

to continue his ancestors’ passion for viticulture and to produce

high-quality wines.

In 2017, PROEMIO received organic certification,

embracing environmental protection and sustainable practices

that continue to make a positive impact on the local community.
